Now you can save the FTA factory bin file right onto the memory stick and then plug it into the receiver. It's a simple process in the onscreen menu to upgrade from USB memory stick. Now you can leave your receiver connected to your TV full time and avoid possible damage to the receiver or satellite dish by unplugging and plugging in the wires on the receiver.
We recommend having one USB Flash Drive memory stick for the receiver alone because if you were to accidentally upload a different document other than the FTA factory bin file you will damage the receiver.
